Saturday February 21st we will be having a going away party for Jerry and Elaine Shields and Family along with Marilyn Taylor. The Shields and Marilyn have been a foundation for the Old Northwood Neighborhood for many years so it is only right that we send them off with a party in their honor.
Please bring a dish to share, bar will be open! See you all there.

Join us for a sizzling afternoon of chili + football! Bring your best chili recipe and compete for the title of ONW CHILI CHAMPION!
Not in the mood to compete, bring your appetite, enjoy some great chili and cast your vote for the winner.
Event is free for ONW residents | $10 for non-residents and guests
Chili Submission Guidelines:
Prepare + bring 1 gallon (16 cups) of your chili
Chili must be fully cooked + hot upon arrival
Bring your chili in a slow cooker or insulated container to keep it warm
Provide your own serving utensil
Set up your station by 3:45pm for sampling + judging to begin at 4pm

Max Idas' at 442 31st Street will be full desserts so feel free to bring one there and Bruce Ingram/Mitchell Zastrow's at 431 31st will have more savory offerings so feel free to bring something there as well...or not!

A masquerade mask is not required but requested. Plus the mask gives the advantage of anonymity so no one will know it was you who ate all the desserts or drank all the wine...

2025 Old Northwood 37th. Holiday Home Tour
The Old Northwood Neighborhood Association announces its 37th Annual Holiday Home Tour. This exciting tradition will take place in the Old Northwood Neighborhood of West Palm Beach on Saturday, December 13th from 4-8pm.
Neighborhood residents plan to welcome you into some of their most special homes and gardens to experience the holiday season in West Palm Beach’s first historic-designated neighborhood.
Sip complimentary wine and take a stroll. You will see many different architectural styles as you tour the neighborhood: Mission style, Mediterranean Revival, Craftsman Bungalow, Four Square and other Florida Frame Vernacular among others.
The event will also feature musicians, a vendor’s market where you can shop for holiday gifts, bid at our silent auction and purchase raffle tickets. You are also invited to bring an unwrapped toy and join Old Northwood’s yearly Holiday Toy Drive.
Wine, beer and small bites from local restaurants and caterers will be served in the homes. Or start early at a special VIP party with catered hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. VIP ticket holders will also have accelerated access to all homes on the tour. The VIP party: 3:00pm-4:30pm.
